Description

Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement microservices architectures and batch processing solutions using Spring Batch or Quartz.
• Write and tune SQL queries for relational databases and manage ORM interactions.
• Execute unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution within Agile sprints.
• Support production monitoring and participate in CI/CD pipeline maintenance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java and Spring Boot development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework modules (MVC, Data JPA, Security).
• Proven ability to design and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools for version control and deployment.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases alongside SQL RDBMS.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
