Description

You will design, develop, and test automation solutions for the Smart Network Platform (SNP) to improve operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the SNP Release Management application using Java and the Spring framework.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud platforms including Lambda, SQS, ECS, Route53, and Cloudwatch.
• Conduct detailed code and design reviews and triage production issues impacting applications.
• Mentor junior-level team members and provide application support to developers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Java.
• 7+ years of experience with Linux and Networking.
• 4+ years of experience with RESTful Web Services.
• Proficiency with Spring framework, Cassandra, Jenkins, and Git.
• Experience deploying applications onto AWS (Lambda, SQS, ECS, Route53, and Cloudwatch).
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and similar network protocols.
