Description

You will develop and deliver advanced Power Systems Applications for Transmission.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver assigned functions for Power Systems Application software to meet project commitments.
• Collaborate with Electric Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs on functional software specifications.
• Design, code, test, integrate, tune, and deliver software solutions.
• Engage with customers on daily issues and organize calls to implement solutions while following change control and compliance protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency with C++, Spring Boot, and Spring frameworks.
• Experience implementing RESTful APIs using Advanced Java.
• 5 years of experience working with LINUX and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience developing Utility-based Systems such as EMS, ADMS, or SCADA (e-terra/Reliance preferred).
• Demonstrated experience working on Power Systems applications for transmission/distribution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with e-terra or Reliance systems.
