Java Developer

You will manage application deployment, infrastructure, and release pipelines for Java-based services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Jenkins environments, including user access, roles, plugins, and upgrades.
• Execute critical deployment tasks across various hosting environments.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Write Linux shell scripts to automate operational workflows.
• Support application hosting on Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, and AKS.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and DevOps.
• Proficiency with Jenkins management and deployment workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with build tools: Maven, Gradle, Ant, and Groovy.
• Practical use of Git for version control.
• Database experience with Oracle.
• Working knowledge of Linux Shell Scripting.
• Experience with HCL Workload Automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing applications on Tomcat, JBoss, or Apache.
