Description

Develop and maintain web-based applications using Java, Spring MVC, and Liferay, including deployment on Tomcat and other application servers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Implement frontend features using JavaScript APIs, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Support production deployments, monitor applications, and resolve live issues.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to application architecture and design.
• Optimize application performance through effective caching strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java web technologies, specifically Spring MVC.
• Hands-on experience with Liferay 7.x and Tomcat 9.0+.
• Proficiency in developing and consuming SOAP and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of XML and web integration mechanisms.
• Experience with JBoss or other application servers.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL and familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Understanding of jQuery and frontend frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Angular or React.
• Experience in highly integrated enterprise systems.
