Description

You will develop applications to support ETF front-to-back processes, including middle and front office platforms for Portfolio Managers and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications used by ETF Portfolio Managers and operations teams.
• Provide ongoing L3 support for existing systems.
• Analyze, create, and document technical solutions to complex problems.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment using Scrum, pair programming, and continuous integration.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional development experience.
• Expertise in Core Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful frameworks.
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns (Dependency Injection, MVVM, MVC).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
• Extensive experience in UNIX environments and shell scripting.
• Development experience with Python.
• Deep database knowledge including T-SQL, normalization/de-normalization, performance tuning, and locking mechanisms.
• Experience with Test Driven Development and Unit Testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, React, and TypeScript.
• UX design experience.
• Investment industry knowledge, specifically ETF Portfolio Management.
