Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for AWS resources
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with various AWS services
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Collaborate with teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies and Git version control

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java application development with Java 8/11/17
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, and API Gateway
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and Docker containerization
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control systems
• Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Experience with security best practices for cloud-native applications
• AWS certifications are a plus
