Description

You will design and build a high-availability platform-as-a-service, owning core middleware, resiliency frameworks, and developer experience improvements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance messaging middleware and distributed frameworks.
• Implement application resiliency and configuration management using existing platform tools.
• Improve the SDLC, testing strategies, and developer experience via a shift-left approach.
• Maintain system observability, authentication, and logging infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of work experience building large-scale distributed systems with Java.
• Strong, hands-on core Java programming skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of distributed systems, including messaging middleware, databases, and networking.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, RocksDB, MongoDB, MemSQL, Prometheus, and Tempo.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Good communication skills and demonstrated development leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of Python.
• Knowledge in DevOps or Cloud computing.
