Description

Design, develop, and support strategic trading systems for the global Securities Finance user base.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write hands-on code in Java to build foundation and functional products.
• Implement functional trading components in collaboration with technology leads.
• Manage strategic product rollouts and provide user support for APAC stakeholders.
• Contribute to DevOps streams by adhering to CI/CD protocols during product buildouts.
• Run projects independently while collaborating with other technology peers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional coding experience in core Java.
• Extensive experience with the Spring framework.
• Proven track record building distributed and enterprise applications.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with messaging frameworks.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
• Ability to work onsite in New York, NY, 3 days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Redis, Kafka, and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Jira, Bit Bucket, Bamboo, GitHub, and GitHub Copilot.
• Working experience with AWS.
