Description

You will build and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Cassandra.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Spring Core, Integration, Batch, and Services.
• Design and implement REST/SOAP web services using JSON and XML.
• Manage data persistence with ORM and NoSQL databases like Cassandra.
• Integrate messaging frameworks including Apache Kafka and MQ.
• Provide technical guidance to offshore development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Deep experience with the Spring ecosystem (Framework, ORM, MVC, Integration, Batch, Services).
• Hands-on experience with Cassandra NoSQL database.
• Experience with SOA and REST/SOAP web services using JSON/XML.
• Proficiency with Apache Kafka or MQ messaging frameworks.
• Experience with Maven, JUnit, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and source control tools like BitBucket, GIT, or SVN.
• Experience using web/application servers such as JBOSS or Tomcat.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud technologies and platforms.
• Experience using Eclipse, STS, or IntelliJ IDEs.
