Description

Design and implement scalable Java-based distributed systems and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver scalable APIs and platforms for high-scale consumption.
• Develop microservices using service-oriented architecture (SOA) patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda, EC2, and API Gateway.
• Manage data streaming and messaging using SQS and Kinesis.
• Deploy applications to the cloud using CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring CLI, Maven, and multi-threading/concurrency.
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS core services, including EC2, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of cloud databases and NoSQL, specifically DynamoDB and Aurora.
• Experience with caching using ElastiCache and data streaming via SQS and Kinesis.
• Solid grasp of security concepts including JWT, SSL, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, and OAuth 2.0.
• Understanding of Agile SDLC methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
