Description

You will design and implement scalable backend services using Java 21 and Quarkus.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices following Hexagonal Architecture principles.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, validating them with Postman.
• Implement data persistence using PostgreSQL with Hibernate JPA and Panache.
• Integrate Redis Cache to optimize service performance.
• Write automated tests using Cucumber (BDD) and apply microservices design patterns like Circuit Breaker and API Gateway.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java 17/21+.
• Hands-on expertise with the Quarkus framework.
• Deep understanding of Hexagonal/Clean Architecture.
• Proficiency with Hibernate JPA, Panache ORM, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing microservices-based systems.
• Knowledge of Redis for caching.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber.
• Ability to collaborate with DevOps, frontend, and QA teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Redis Pub/Sub.
• Strong grasp of modern design principles for clean, testable code.
