Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using core Java and distributed systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices architecture using Java.
• Implement functional programming patterns, preferably in Scala.
• Manage distributed caching and relational databases including Sybase, Oracle, and MSSQL.
• Integrate and maintain middleware components such as MQ and Kafka.
• Deploy and operate applications in Linux environments.

Required Skills

• Core Java programming with strong proficiency.
• Experience with a functional programming language (Scala preferred).
• Fundamental knowledge of microservices design.
• Strong experience with distributed caching and relational databases (Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL).
• Exposure to message brokers (MQ, Kafka).
• Proficiency in Linux environment operations.
• 5+ years of commercial development experience.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of distributed system design and infrastructure.
• Ability to work effectively in a global team.
