Description

Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale web applications across the full System Development Life Cycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain RESTful API architecture using Spring Boot and microservices patterns.
• Develop complex database logic, including PL/SQL queries, procedures, triggers, and packages.
• Implement real-time data processing pipelines using Spark Streaming and Kafka.
• Manage application monitoring and health checks in production using Spring Boot Actuator.
• Execute all software development phases, including unit testing, system integration, and configuration management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, and Spring frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring WS, Spring Rest, and Microservices.
• Strong database skills with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server, including complex PL/SQL.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of Kafka and Spark Streaming for real-time processing.
• Experience with web servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere.
• Proficiency in version control using Git, SVN, and Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with Agile (SCRUM) and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Confidential Care and Insurance domains.
• Knowledge of SOA and SOAP web services using JAWS-WS.
