Description

You will build and modernize financial products within the Middle Office Core Platform organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and program individual modules, large components, or complex feature sets.
• Lead technical discussions and present designs through whiteboarding.
• Maintain code quality using unit testing, automation, and industry best practices.
• Design interfaces and manage information exchange between system modules.
• Execute tasks within a delivery-focused environment to meet product release goals.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in backend engineering.
• Expertise in at least one language: Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or Sybase.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with scripting in Bash, Perl, or Python.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM major.
• Strong understanding of build, release, and deployment processes.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to data platforms like Snowflake.
• Experience with message-oriented middleware such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
