Description

You will develop, maintain, and deploy web-based applications using Java, Spring MVC, and Liferay on Tomcat.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise web applications using Java, Spring MVC, and Liferay 7.x.
• Design, host, and consume SOAP and RESTful web services with strong XML integration.
• Build responsive frontend interfaces using JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, and web caching strategies.
• Support production deployments, monitor application performance, and resolve live issues.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to end-to-end application architecture and design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java web technologies and Spring MVC.
• Proficiency with Liferay (7.x) and Tomcat 9.0+ (JBoss/GlassFish exposure acceptable).
• Solid understanding of web caching, server-side caching, and application architecture.
• Experience with JavaScript APIs, CSS3, responsive design, and jQuery.
• Strong knowledge of SOAP, RESTful services, and XML integration mechanisms.
• Familiarity with PL/SQL and Oracle or SQL Server databases.
• Experience with production deployments and supporting live applications.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Angular or React for frontend development.
• Exposure to VM templates and multi-technology platform environments.
