Description

You will develop end-to-end Java applications and manage large-scale data processing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data-intensive applications using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Ingest and incorporate real-time, streaming, batch, and API-based data into the platform.
• Manage and load large datasets within Hadoop environments.
• Compute complex logic on Spark platforms and optimize data pipelines for scalability.
• Lead and mentor other members of the data engineering team.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in end-to-end Java application development.
• Strong core Java expertise including multi-threading, collections API, and JDBC.
• Proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Big Data frameworks including Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, or Flink.
• Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and data integration tools.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Expertise in performance profiling, memory optimization, and tuning data-intensive applications.
• 5+ years of experience with UI technologies such as HTML5 and Angular JS.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud computing.
• Background in enterprise stress testing and risk (credit, operational, or market).
