Description

You will build and maintain distributed, cloud-based microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement service-oriented, microservices-style application architectures.
• Develop RESTful web services and Ajax-driven client applications using advanced JavaScript.
• Build and manage data feeds and processes for e-commerce components like articles, price, and inventory.
• Design and implement analytics solutions and models using Snowflake.
• Automate testing using mock frameworks, virtual services, and performance testing tools.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Java and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of Java design patterns and the Spring Boot framework.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Concourse, TFS build pipeline, or GitHub.
• Practical application of TDD, BDD, and Agile methodologies.
