You will design and build scalable backend services and platforms for a high-traffic environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead user story analysis, elaboration, and solution architecture for complex systems.
• Design and implement REST APIs, micro-services, and containerized applications.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and drive iterative improvements in automation and practices.
• Collaborate across internal teams to solve ambiguous technical challenges.
• Build and support distributed, highly available systems on cloud platforms.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience with Java backend (J2EE).
• 5+ years of reactive programming (asynchronous paradigm) with Spring Boot WebFlux, Vert.x, or RxJava.
• Proven expertise in REST API design and SOA/Micro-Services architecture.
• Experience with stream processing and queues (Solace, Kafka).
• Database experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL/Document DBs, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, and Confluence.
• Understanding of security principles, SSL, and cryptography.
• Familiarity with AI models and Gen AI tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Codex).
• BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Kotlin experience.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
