Description

Backend-focused Java Developer role based in Pittsburgh or New York City, requiring three days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Framework microservices.
• Implement data persistence layers using ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.
• Integrate messaging systems and security protocols into the application architecture.
• Manage and optimize database interactions across relational and NoSQL systems.

Required Skills

• 10 years of Java full stack development experience.
• Expertise in Java EE or Java Spring Framework microservices.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate or JPA.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Spring Security, OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, WSO2, and Spring Security integrations.
• Proficiency in Kafka.
