You will build and maintain backend services using Java and microservices architecture in Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop and document REST APIs using JSON and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Integrate diverse systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Manage database operations across SQL and NoSQL environments.
• Maintain code quality through CI/CD pipelines and version control.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and Postman.
• Familiarity with Swagger or OpenAPI for API documentation.
• Experience using Groovy, Gradle, or Maven for build automation.
• Proficiency with Git and Jenkins for CI/CD workflows.
• Working knowledge of XSD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system integration across complex environments.
