Description

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain code using Java, JDBC, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs
• Design and develop applications with a focus on system design, testing, and operational stability
• Write and execute unit tests, automated tests, and apply Test Driven Development principles
• Collaborate within Agile teams and follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD best practices

Qualifications

• Required
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Java programming
  • Strong programming skills in Core Java
  • Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
  • Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Maven
  • Familiarity with JUnit and Cucumber testing frameworks
  • Knowledge of unit testing, automated testing, and Test Driven Development
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle
• Preferred
  • Experience with messaging frameworks such as JMS, IBM Active MQ, or Kafka
  • Proficiency with Shell scripting
  • Experience with IntelliJ IDE or similar development tools
