Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and REST APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST APIs adhering to HTTP standards and JSON specifications.
• Develop and optimize applications interacting with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Integrate microservices using message brokers or streaming platforms.
• Implement automated testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Troubleshoot and profile JVM applications for performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level Java programming.
• Solid understanding of REST API design, HTTP, and JSON.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with NoSQL stores like MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Strong command of Git and branching strategies.
