Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and event-driven microservices while owning the full software development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build event-driven microservices using Java and Spring Framework.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code, including comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Execute deployment strategies and troubleshoot production technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold engineering best practices.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum ceremonies to deliver features on schedule.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java.
• 5+ years of experience with the Spring Framework.
• 2+ years of cloud experience, specifically with AWS.
• Strong background in designing and building event-driven microservices.
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and strong understanding of design patterns.
• Experience in the financial services industry or with NoSQL databases.
