Description

You will design, develop, and support shared Java components for a cloud-ready microservices architecture on RedHat OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain distributed microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, and Spring Data.
• Design and maintain complex shared enterprise services including security, logging, REST, and common APIs.
• Improve observability for thousands of microservices using DynaTrace, Nagios, Prometheus, and Elastic Stack.
• Configure and support GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines incorporating Azure DevOps, Tekton, Argo CD, and Maven.
• Conduct design and code reviews to enforce coding standards and architecture principles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building scalable microservices using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring LDAP, Spring REST).
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Spring Data, including JPA, JDBC, Cassandra, SOLR, and SAI.
• 5+ years of experience developing with SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with Cassandra Query Language (CQL).
• 3+ years of experience supporting GitOps CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, Tekton, Argo CD, Artifactory, or SonarQube.
• Experience with Object Oriented software analysis, design patterns, and Java profiling tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for meeting facilitation and presentations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices Architecture style and Domain Driven Design.
