Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop automated tests using JUnit, Hamcrest, and Cucumber.
• Manage data persistence and caching with MySQL and Redis.
• Implement REST APIs to support service communication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Core Java.
• Proficiency in Java Spring Boot.
• Experience with JUnit, Hamcrest, and Cucumber frameworks.
• Hands-on work with MySQL databases.
• Experience using Redis for caching.
• Practical knowledge of REST APIs.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of Schema registry with Protobuf, the Outbox pattern, and observability-driven development.
