Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot for Payments and Nexus components.
• Build and enhance APIs for account validation and transaction processing across core banking platforms such as IBS and Horizon.
• Work on the Nexus integration layer to enable connectivity between payment hub systems, internal services, and external partners.
• Develop and support event-driven payment flows using messaging frameworks such as JMS or Kafka.
• Contribute to Open Banking initiatives, including real-time payment processing and regulatory compliance-driven enhancements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including API design, development, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
• Ensure high-quality engineering practices through test automation, performance optimization, and secure coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, core banking, and digital teams to deliver end-to-end payment solutions.

Experience Required: 5 to 6 years of experience with strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot-based microservices development, experience in payments or banking domain preferred.

Education: Bachelor of Computer Engineering
