Description

Build and maintain backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices architecture for scalable backend systems.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Integrate asynchronous messaging systems, specifically Apache Kafka.
• Implement data persistence layers using MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Apply standard design patterns to ensure clean, maintainable service code.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Java 8 or newer.
• Strong experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• Solid understanding of Microservices patterns and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Proficiency with version control using Git/GitHub.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks for unit and integration tests.
