Description

Design and implement backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices with clean, maintainable code and strong unit test coverage.
• Build and containerize services using Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes for cloud-native deployments.
• Validate APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman, and troubleshoot defects during SIT/UAT.
• Collaborate with the POD to raise technical risks, resolve blockers, and deliver sprint commitments.
• Maintain PostgreSQL persistence and implement backend logic using Java 8/11.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java (Java 8/11) and Spring Boot for REST API development.
• Experience building microservices.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Maven.
• Familiarity with Git, JUnit, and API validation tools.
• Understanding of RDBMS concepts (PostgreSQL).
• Any Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
