Description

You will develop, implement, and maintain Java-based backend and workflow applications in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Responsibilities

• Own all phases of the software life cycle, from gathering requirements and writing functional specifications to coding, debugging, and documentation.
• Lead projects at a technical level, including training and disseminating information to team members.
• Architect and build secure, highly available, and scalable systems using clustering, load balancing, and messaging systems.
• Debug complex issues, including memory leaks, within containerized cloud environments.
• Support delivery through Agile methodologies and work closely with managers and clients.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience building and consuming REST web services and processing JSON data.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases including MS-SQL and Oracle.
• Experience with workflow engines such as JBPMN or Activiti.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or MQ Series.
• Experience developing in containerized environments such as K8s, AWS, or Azure.
• Competency with SCM tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, or Git.
