Description

You will build and maintain Java-based Core Engineering applications within a microservices architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and unit, integration, and UAT test components.
• Collaborate with design and architecture teams to document software architecture.
• Implement microservices APIs and optimize database performance.
• Engage with clients for requirement gathering and technical briefings.
• Maintain coding standards to improve user experience.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and Collections.
• Practical knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience delivering RESTful services and Microservices/SOA architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented principles and clean code.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, SRE, and TDD.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Transcend.
• Experience in the insurance domain.
