Description

You will design and implement critical system components for payment automation, fulfillment enhancements, and service-oriented checkout architectures. You will own the release pipeline, collaborate with product and architecture teams, and triage production issues alongside operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system components aligned with solution architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
• Participate in sprint planning and develop technical documentation for all components.
• Build and modify test cases and harnesses to validate system changes.
• Triage production and non-production issues alongside operations and support teams.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience building distributed, highly scalable ecommerce software in Java.
• 2+ years of experience building applications using the Spring Framework stack.
• 2+ years of experience building RESTful services using Groovy.
• Expert knowledge of Servlet Containers and web-oriented architectures.
• Experience with relational databases and continuous integration environments using Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Proficiency in aggressive refactoring techniques.
• Experience with Restful Services, Java, Apache Cassandra, and Selenium.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with commerce platforms, specifically ATG.
• Experience with non-relational databases such as Apache Cassandra, Basho Riak, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Working knowledge of single page applications using Backbone.js or Angular.js.
