Description

You will design, build, and support complex, large-scale multi-tiered applications in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and document technical requirements and system specifications for new and existing systems.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Struts, and JSPs.
• Troubleshoot and provide support for complex multi-tiered systems and web services.
• Perform relational and object-oriented modeling for application architecture.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver software solutions using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with SOAP and REST Web Services.
• Proficiency with Spring, Struts, JSPs, JDBC, and JMS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with technical design documentation and object-oriented modeling.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UNIX OS, UNIX Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, and UML.
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere Liberty, and Oracle RDBMS.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban.
