Description

You will design and build complex Java and AWS applications, including robust APIs for mobile and desktop clients.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support client applications.
• Write production code, unit tests, and prototypes while profiling application bottlenecks.
• Develop automated tests to ensure business requirements are met and support regression testing.
• Deploy and manage API-based applications using cloud-native technologies.
• Implement features using Java Streams and AWS services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall working experience in software development.
• 8+ years of experience with Java Streams.
• 7+ years of experience with React development.
• 3+ years of experience with Cloud Native technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and the AWS Stack.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including SNS, Lambda, EC2, IAM, EKS, and Kinesis.
• Experience deploying and managing API-based applications.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and ATDD practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mobile and desktop client integration.
