Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable healthcare data exchange solutions using FHIR APIs. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop compliant REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build data transformation pipelines to process TSV, XML, JSON, CSV, and NDJSON formats.
• Implement reusable parsing, normalization, and validation components for ETL/ELT workflows.
• Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability through code tuning and caching.
• Maintain clear documentation for APIs, data models, and deployment processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (11 or higher).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, JSON, and XML.
• Experience building data transformation workflows (parsing, mapping, serializing).
• Ability to implement schema-driven transformations using JAXB, Jackson, or custom parsers.
• Practical experience with API security (OAuth2, JWT, HTTPS).
• Proficiency in relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL) and complex SQL.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA and GitLab.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to continuous testing, API monitoring, and AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS).
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) for healthcare dashboards.
