Description

You will lead the design and implementation of core platform features and APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design and implementation for core platform features and REST APIs.
  • Build platform monitoring tools, dashboards, and ad hoc reports for operational support.
  • Execute defect fixes, performance testing, and endurance testing.
  • Perform peer code reviews and architecture reviews to maintain clean code standards.
  • Work second shift hours to ensure overlap with the onsite team.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in internet-scale solution development.
  • Expertise in Java 11, including Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, and generics.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot (Webflux, Reactor 3) and Spring Data.
  • Experience with asynchronous reactive microservices using Vert.x.
  • Strong knowledge of Java functional and reactive programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Open API (Swagger) specifications.
  • Database schema design, index design, and query tuning for NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and MQ.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Jaeger, and Prometheus.
  • Proficiency with Git workflows, Gradle, load testing tools, and mock frameworks.
  • Application of Test Driven Development (TDD) principles.

Preferred Skills

  • Java certification.
