Description

Develop and maintain Java-based applications and solutions onsite in Salt Lake City.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of Java-based solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system stability.
• Optimize existing code and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and system administrators.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Java 8+, and the Spring framework.
• Strong knowledge of Collections and Multi-Threading.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services, and micro-services.
• Proficiency with build tools including Gradle and Maven.
• Experience with GIT version control and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Linux/Unix, SQL, and relational databases.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• UI technologies such as Angular or React.
• Messaging tools like Kafka.
• Cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
