Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java APIs using the Spring Boot framework.
• Design and implement microservices and ETL processes.
• Write clean, maintainable code following established design patterns.
• Build and manage unit and integration tests using JUnit, Cucumber, or JBehave.
• Optimize database queries within DynamoDB and relational SQL databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Core Java expertise including multi-threading, data structures, and lambdas.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS services including SNS, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, Auto Scaling, and S3.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and containerization.
• Knowledge of Hibernate, Apache Commons, and GSON.
• Experience with AWS EC2, Fargate, and Kinesis.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, cloud formation templates, and build pipelines.
• Practical experience working within Agile or SCRUM methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Cloud platform features and infrastructure management.
