Description

You will build and maintain scalable Java-based microservices and APIs, owning the full lifecycle from development to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java APIs using Spring Boot and RESTful patterns.
• Build and manage ETL processes and microservices.
• Optimize database queries for DynamoDB and relational SQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable code following established design patterns.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit, Cucumber, or JBehave.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Core Java expertise including multi-threading, data structures, and Lambdas.
• Proficiency with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, Fargate, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of containerization and AWS CloudFormation templates.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with Apache Commons and GSON.
• Practical experience with Agile or SCRUM methodologies.
• Ability to work with DevOps build pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Auto Scaling and AWS containerization.
