Description

Build and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring framework in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs following standard principles and using Swagger for contracts.
• Implement core Java features including Streams, Lambda expressions, and multi-threading.
• Write unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test to ensure code quality.
• Manage application security through SSL, MASL, and encryption protocols.
• Maintain code integrity using GitHub, Fortify, and SonarQube.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with CORE Java and JDK 8 features.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring CORE, Spring MVC, Spring Web Services, and Spring AOP.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development.
• Strong understanding of Collections, Sorting, Threads, and Inter-thread communication.
• Experience with File IO and NIO.
• Working knowledge of MySQL and Tomcat.
• Proficiency with Maven, GitHub, and JIRA.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks including JUnit and Mockito.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Apache CXF, Apache Camel, or RAML.
• Experience with WS02 API Management Platform.
