Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and distributed systems using modern Java frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs for distributed systems.
• Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain data persistence layers using relational or NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical problems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Micronaut, or Quarkus in a microservices architecture.
• Practical experience with cloud compute, database, and networking services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Expert-level proficiency with Git.
• Solid understanding of API authentication including OAuth2, JWT, and API Keys.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and messaging queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with SOAP web services and testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or Spock.
• Knowledge of observability practices including logging, metrics, and tracing.
