Description

You will design, build, and maintain microservices-based applications and distributed systems using modern Java frameworks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs for distributed systems.
• Manage and deploy services on cloud platforms including core compute, database, and networking services.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain data persistence layers using relational or NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical problems and ensure system reliability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus, or Micronaut.
• Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Practical experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Strong understanding of API authentication including OAuth2, JWT, and API Keys.
• Expert-level proficiency with Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and messaging queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or Spock.
• Knowledge of observability practices including logging, metrics, and tracing.
