Description
You will develop Java-based cloud applications and microservices, building and maintaining RESTful APIs and search engine components.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using established REST principles.
- Develop microservices architectures within cloud environments.
- Test and validate code to ensure functional accuracy.
- Implement search engine components for faceted and keyword searches.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience developing Java-based cloud applications.
- Proficiency with Java and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with SpringBoot.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Knowledge of search frameworks such as Vespa, Solr, Elasticsearch, or Lucene.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or Azure.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Python, NodeJS, or Go.
- Experience with React or Angular.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
