Description

You will lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable Java services, including low-latency systems and data feed ingestion.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery phases for medium to large projects, defining high-level system designs.
• Lead and participate in end-to-end service implementations, data feed ingestion, and orchestration.
• Design and implement low-latency services using event sourcing and event-based architectures.
• Lead a small group of 3 to 4 engineers on assigned projects.
• Troubleshoot business logic and production issues in distributed environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Deep understanding of Design Patterns and Event Sourcing.
• Experience working with Cassandra, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of building scalable, distributed systems in virtualized cloud environments.
• Experience developing high-performance solutions for big data ETL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading small engineering teams (3-4 engineers).
