Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for high-visibility services handling large data volumes.
• Drive improvements in system quality, testability, and operational excellence.
• Investigate and optimize non-functional requirements including latency and performance.
• Contribute to technical design, implementation, and product vision.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and business leadership to scale existing systems.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in system design or architecture, specifically regarding design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Expertise in Java development.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages.
• Ability to work within agile development environments.
• Proven technical design and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RESTful services and distributed architecture.
• Full software development life cycle experience, including code reviews, source control, build processes, and operations.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale, real-time distributed applications with high availability.
