Description

You will play a key leadership role in building and supporting a Strategic Pricing data platform to meet regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality, and scope expectations.
• Participate in all stages of the SDLC within an agile Scrum environment.
• Enhance and re-architect existing components to improve performance and scalability.
• Interact with senior management to define and drive architectural direction.
• Provide level 3 escalation support for the application.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of application development experience.
• Core Java (Collections, I/O, JDBC).
• Spring Boot.
• SQL/PL-SQL on Oracle DB.
• REST web services.
• Tomcat or Weblogic application servers.
• Unix commands and Korn shell scripting.
• Standard data structures and algorithms.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing Kafka consumers and producers.
• Designing and implementing microservices.
• Financial services technology experience, preferably in the reference data domain.
• Physical and logical data modelling.
• Experience with JIRA, uDeploy, Sonarqube, TeamCity, Artifactory, Git (BitBucket), and OpenShift.
