Description

You will lead the development and support of a Strategic Pricing data platform, ensuring regulatory compliance and system scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver development projects within agreed schedules and quality standards.
• Participate in all SDLC stages within an Agile Scrum environment.
• Re-architect existing components to improve performance and scalability.
• Define and drive architectural direction in collaboration with senior management.
• Provide Level 3 escalation support for the application.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of application development experience.
• Core Java proficiency, including Collections, I/O, and JDBC.
• Experience with Spring Boot framework.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills on Oracle Database.
• Proficiency in building REST web services.
• Experience with Tomcat or WebLogic application servers.
• Competency in Unix commands and Korn shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of standard data structures and algorithms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing Kafka consumers and producers.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices.
• Background in financial services technology, preferably in reference data.
