Description

You will develop and support client applications for the Integrated Eligibility Project, translating requirements into functional code.

Responsibilities

• Translate software requirements into workable programming code and maintain business applications.
• Assist in identifying business requirements and creating functional and technical designs.
• Encode programs, perform unit testing, and support user acceptance testing processes.
• Develop asynchronous Java processes and manage transactions and threading.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java and J2EE programming.
• Proficiency in EJB, Servlet, JSP, and jQuery.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle database and JDBC query development.
• Experience with logging mechanisms and WebSphere or WebLogic application servers.
• Familiarity with Java Transaction Management, Thread Management, and Eclipse-based development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, JPA, EJB3, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Swing.
• Knowledge of SOAP, XML, UML, Oracle/DB2, Rational Tools, TDD, and SDLC.
• Proficiency with versioning tools, Ant Scripts, and Configuration Management.
