Description

You will build and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain efficient, reusable Java Spring Boot services.
• Develop, test, deploy, and release new microservices.
• Create database schemas to support business processes and improve API performance.
• Gather requirements and produce application specification documents and flow charts.
• Implement modernized application design and testing features before release.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Java concurrency patterns and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience creating RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and JDBC.
• Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with MVC concepts and automated testing/unit test creation.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum practices.
• Knowledge of IBM API gateway.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications.
