Description

You will own the automation of web application, database, and infrastructure deployments in cloud environments. You will build and maintain JBOSS Web Application Server functionality while setting the middleware automation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop modular scripts and workflows to automate deployment processes.
• Model infrastructure stacks and configure JBOSS, Apache HTTP Server, and WebSphere MQ.
• Review, select, and integrate new automation tooling for the deployment pipeline.
• Collaborate with application development and operations teams to ensure end-to-end automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience configuring JBOSS, Apache HTTP Server, and WebSphere MQ.
• Proficiency with RDBMS such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Intermediate to advanced scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Perl.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or CFEngine.
• Proficiency with version control systems including Git or Subversion.
• Experience using CI tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, or Bamboo.
• Practical knowledge of SSL, certificates, load balancing, and horizontal scaling.
• Experience managing issues using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
